THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

In 2023, Roland Weber and Christoph Straube founded Green Tower Dubai GmbH in Frankfurt to market and develop the Green-Towers Concept in the Emirates.

Furthermore, all three entrepreneurs (below) will found a clean Dubai SPV Project Company, where they will hold 1/3 of the shares each. All decisions in both Companies will be by mutual agreement.

Roland Weber

  • Project developer of residential sustainable high-rises, Founder of Green-Towers GmbH 2016 in Frankfurt.
  • Career as a general contractor incl. general design of mega projects.

All plants were carefully curated by Professor Köhler and his international team. An advanced horticultural system will save 50 % of the water consumption and allow quick replacement of plants whenever required.

This innovative system uses cutting-edge technology to reduce water consumption by 50%, a vital feature in the arid climate of Dubai. Furthermore, the system is designed for flexibility, allowing for the quick replacement of plants to ensure the garden remains pristine and adaptable to changing seasons and conditions.

We will achieve Carbon-Neutrality in two Steps:
(1) Avoiding carbon as much as possible and (2) Compensate the rest credibly

1.a.) Operational Energy:
The “passive” construction of the building will cut the energy demand approximately by half. This will be the first Passive House High-Rise in the Middle East.

1.b.) Grey/Construction-Carbon:
Precision engineering especially in structures and facades, will significantly reduce construction materials. We will source the main Carbon-Drivers, i.e., concrete, reinforcement, aluminium und glass with a lower carbon footprint.

2.) Dubai weather craves for very high energy consumption in living spaces. Luxury use of spaces will multiply this need further. Only a full and credible carbon offset of all grey and operational energy can reconcile luxury and sustainability. Dubai´s solar power satisfies strict carbon compensation requirements of the German DGNB and the Passive House Institute. Green-Towers has developed the unique engineering competence to master this.
